Still waiting for the code

Just to be clear when I get the code, I must go to MogStation and at the account status in FINAL FANTASY XIV product select add Windows service and enter that code right?

PS: in the Service account Standard Remaining Days ： 3 days (Free Trial Period) - That i have now, I dont see my character, it says (0) characters? possible glitch?
