EA code versus Registration code

are these the same or different?
after getting the EA code and registering, i haven't gotten any email about a registration code.

looking at my service account in mogstation, i have a standard account status with 4 days (trial period). i thought we were given 30 days?

Early Access is just early access to the game. You still have 4 days left on it before you need to add the game's registration code. And you're probably better off waiting since SE didn't add a way to upgrade EA to Standard/Collector's Edition without making a new service account.

Only problem now is that I didn't even get m registration code yet.

thats not true they do have a way for it to add on to the current service. in mogstation instead of pressing the + symbol to add new service what u do is click on account service. after doing this click on windows platform and use code and register it. after this your ea time will change to either 33 or 34 days depending on how long is left on ea but yeah never press the + symbol on the site it gives u since it will add a new account service

i see, so 'add windows platform' updates my ea to live. thanks
hopefully they send my registration code by then...still nothing in my email

I didn't even had that option before I made a new service account.

yeah its just above it on top right its u need to click it so it opens up another website and yeah it does upgrade to live as u can see by the number of days left changes.
u dont press any buttons on the bottom just need to click account service in mogstation so it takes u to the right spot

The option was always there, SE just has menus that are so hard to navigate it's ridiculous. And no, most people who brought from SE have not gotten there registration codes yet.

I would like to upgrade to the CE but I don't see a link anywhere. I bought my digital standard edition from Square-Enix's store so I don't have my registration code yet. Sigh.
