Help with Chocobo

I'm an old player, not quite to the status of getting a special chocobo, but I earned mine. When I logged in today I didn't have it, got the quests to the grand company stage. Had my old rank. The key item wasn't listed with the quartermaster. The Chocobo Porter had renaming my custom chocobo but I still can't summon it.

Can anyone assist me?

If you had your chocobo in 1.0, you should still have it now. Do you have the chocobo whistle in your inventory. If so, just use it, and then you'll have the command to summon your chocobo in the 'Mounts' section of your Actions and Traits menu.

if you have the chocobo whistle, use it, then go to your menu, under actions and traits you will see the cathegory of mounts, from there you can set it to your hot bar. i hope this is your case.

sorry for getting off topic.. how in the hell do you make ur chocobo fight along side of you? i bought greens, still cant figure it out.

Guide to a Battle chicken.

Step 1: Make sure you already have a Grand Company issued chocobo. (If not, complete main story quest until you've joined a grand company, then accept the quest "My little chocobo" from the npc in the GC HQ.)
Step 2: Make sure you have a battle class (DoW or DoM) leveled to at least 30. (You have to be level 30 or higher to even accept the quest.)
Step 3: Head to Camp Tranquil and accept the "My Fiesty Little Chocobo" quest from Docette.
Step 4: Head to Bentbranch meadows and speak with Luquelote.
Step 5: Gather a fresh Gysahl Green from the nearby patch.
Step 6: Deliver the greens to Luquelote.
At this point you are already able to summon a combatbo by using a Gysahl Green
Step 7: Defeat 3 Brood Ziz with your chocobo companion.
Step 8: Return to Luquelote and finish the quest!

Check the Calamity Salvager npc in your starting city and retainers as well. Mine was stored at the Calamity Salvager npc.

Thanks. I hadn't even heard of this npc before and when I found it I do remember running by here but there was a massive crowd at the time so I couldn't see the npc. XD
