Character Creation Limit...is hurting the game

First of all, I'm based in oceanic and there were only 2 servers selected to be the unofficial oceanic server and i could only resort to those 2 servers with no other choice.

After getting all my friends interested and convincing them to try FFXIV out the first thing they experience is cannot create a character on the server we want to be on and is slowly out of patience.

As a oceanic player, without a dedicated server, only limited number of (2) server available to choose to have a 'possible' oceanic community and those servers restricted...how are can we play this game...

Are there alot more oceanic players out there in the same boat...? That simply have no choice to go roll in a low pop server cause there is no garantee there will be people playing in our time zone...

    Hi

props on the character name, I love DaS

character creation limits suck for all of us with RL friends. out of my three friends who want to play this game with me, two have been lucky enough to roll characters on my server, but unfortunately, my girlfriend still hasn't been able to.

edit: just wanted to mention, it doesn't seem like character creation is permanently locked on any of these servers. my friends who did manage to roll on my server both made their characters at around 5 am EST. pretty much when the servers were experiencing about as low of a load as they will see at any time during the next month.
