I'm also getting random crashes.
After one of them my system said it was a bluescreen error (I never see a blue screen, just everything freezes)
I checked the event manager log thing and noticed a bunch of these errors. Dunno if they are related or not:Problem signature:

Seem to be showing up before I had the problem with FFXIV though but are showing up roughly when I'm playing FFXIV and having a problem (could just be coincidence)
System:
Intel i7 920 2.67GHz overclocked to 3.5GHz
NVIDIA GTX285
6GB RAM
Having no problems with any other game or program on my system (well, Firefox isn't playing youtube video sound but It's probably a plugin issue). FFXIV is the only one that leads my system to crash at random times. Seems to only happen when it is the focused window and seems less likely to happen if I regularly focus on another window though not always.
