So I wasn't going to come here and complain like everyone else, but I've had it, so I'm going to.
I played right as early access started, I played after first maintenance. But ever since then I have not been able to play once. All day yesterday and today, just error 1017.
I finally got in queue once earlier today. I was 6th in queue. About a minute later, error 1017.
I've been patient. I've waited. But I'm about to refund my game because I had barely any "early access". I got tired of trying my server so I tried a different one with a new character and still no luck. EU servers seem to be fine, can you guys do something here.
Yeah it's launch, it's not perfect, etc. etc. But what do you guys expect to do when the game actually launches? For sure many more people will be on here, and if you can't handle it now, nobody is ever going to be able to play when the game is out.
There is an easy and relatively simple fix to this, and I am not sure why this has not been implemented yet. Get more servers, for more worlds, and then allow anyone to transfer to these new low population servers for free.
It would make us all happy, and we would continue to play instead of refunding our money.
You guys shutdown v1.0 because it was so bad, and come out with the updated version which is much better, but unplayable. We would have been better off playing v1.0.
Seriously, it isn't very hard, and I know that for a fact. Other games have done it, you can do it. I want to have faith in you guys, Square Enix, but it is very hard to when things like this happen, and don't get fixed relatively quickly.
I hope we could at least get something (I have no idea what) as to make up for the unplayable early access.
And for the love of god, add an auto logout so these damn assholes stop staying logged in all day. Nobody ever logs out, so the same people have been on all weekend. Have you guys not realized this?
