So yesterday they throttle access to Ultros and other realms like they owe them money in an effort to fix the duty finder. Then they decide to just choke these realms to death instead of just bringing them down. This goes on for hours on end and finally they say "Emergency maintenance" doing what they should have done from jump street.

This "maintenance" was supposed to last an hour and a half from 9-1030 pm pacific. Well its almost 7pm pacific the next day and their wonderful website has no updates..ZERO. Granted you can still see just how in shambles its all in by simply trying to do what should be the most simple part of an MMO....logging in.

I wasn't in on the initial launch of this Hindenburg so I'm not going to act like Ive been twice kicked in the junk. However I'm a reasonable guy..once is enough.

If it was just all down and there was a standing post simply saying "Hey its effed..were bringing it down so we can fix it, EA was a bust our bad were gonna do everything we can to have it ship shape for official launch" Id be disappointed but Id know to just chill and not even bother (granted I would expect something for the lack of EA). Instead they're just stringing everyone along somehow expecting you to do what others are doing i.e. spending 15 minutes camping and spamming the login and getting lucky at some point.

To anyone quoting ToS keep this in mind. Not a single one of us signed a ToS when whatever retailer we went to kindly took our money for a preorder..we just signed the receipt. No rep from SE was trotted out to make sure I knew that if the carrot of EA they dangled was rotten (which it has been) that I wouldn't have a leg to stand on and that I'm basically beholden to them now that Ive decided to proffer my money to them. There's a reason for that..its never worked like that, ever. Plain and simple.

Ill close with this. A lot of people say its tragic that this happened with such a good game and while I see the line of thinking I have to disagree. While the former is unfortunate the real tragedy is that unless SE is oblivious and brain dead from the bottom to the top of their corporation they knew this stuff would happen and let us pay for it anyway.
