sadly we (NA/EU) ARE school students for how we behaive
You don't play? Log out. You don't need that server space if you are AFK for long
But ppl don't do this cuz they have the education you can expect from elementary school students
Hmm true... My computer is in sleep mode right now. The game is now out in stores in Japan I will see how it's going as I am stuck in JP server. If it's full Japanese will complain but hey it's SE's fault for not providing more servers. The queue system is broken for some reason I happened to get in after about 40th or so in the waiting line. It's something how people are spamming to get the servers to response. You see why Blizzard has more than 200 servers for WoW in NA alone and EU have that same amount as well.
^ Grammy, this is why I love you. Agree 100%If you're AFK, you're not playing, just wasting a slot. There is no point in being AFK as far as the games structure or function are concerned. You can't sell stuff directly from your character, there's no achievements for not doing anything, and no one really cares what you look like.
There's no practical use beyond the fear of 1017 when they try to get back in, which is ironically fueled by the very people who AFK.

it's true that WoW have a lil bit larger comunity compared to the one expected here. You can't compare number of serverHmm true... My computer is in sleep mode right now. Is also true that some games that opened many servers, after few months had those same servers deserted. Open new server is not wrong or right, it's something to consider very carefully
I seriously have no problem with the people who are squatting on login slots while AFK. Well, I have a slight problem with it, but I understand it. After three straight days of getting booted and losing the ability to play for the rest of the day, or not being able to log at all, the frustration mounts to the levels where nearby valuable inanimate get destroyed. Sometimes, instead of cracking, people cheat the system. I really can't blame them.
Institute an inactive timer, and that issue ends. The problem doesn't lie with the people hoarding their spots on the system, it lies with Square and their maddeningly slow response to this pervasive problem. I can't fault a person for doing whatever they can to try to actually play this game they payed for and waited to experience for so long.
Nearly every other MMO I've ever played has an auto-afk kick mechanism. Frankly, trying to argue against one is just pure selfishness. Everyone is paying the same fee so quite simply somebody who actually wants to play should always take preference over selfish individuals who are taking up server resoures while they work / sleep etc.
Make it an hour rather than 20 minutes perhaps, but trying to defend the practice of taking up an active slot while you are deliberately afk for an extended period is simply childish and illogical when the practice of auto-afk disconnection is so commonplace in other games.
If this game had only come out during the days of AOL, this problem would be solved.
How are you going to stop people like me who put a rubber band around their RS in order for the camera to move while away?
