lol you don't understand the negative affects of putting an afk kick in.. it wouldn't solve a damn thing. Ask for a better que server; not some dumb boot me if im afkScrew this guy.
It's called being selfish. When you afk for 12 hours you're wasting space and denying other paying customers the opportunity to play. What do you lose during your afk activity? Nothing. Because you were never on.
I imagine if there weren't so many AFKers the log in issues wouldn't be so extreme to begin with. I got on for an hour today and saw so many lifeless bodies it really pissed me off.
Could you please elaborate on why it wouldn't solve anything? The only thing i can think of is macroing running into a wall repeatedly as to not get afk'ed if they were to implement it. There are videos all over the place of hours of afkers not to mention people on this very forum admitting to as much. Implementing an afk system would boot people that do this and allow a fair shot at others, like myself, that have been waiting about 14 hours today alon to get in. That doesn't count the 12 i waited yesterday. Anything at this point regarding an afk boot timer would be greatly appreciated by many of us.
-- so everyone gets booted after lets just say 20 mins.... then you have to log back in clogging up the log in server (not guaranteed but there would be a hell of a lot more people trying to log in when the server is still full casuing a backlash -- again not saying 100% would happen but its def a possibility
-- ruins immersion, its cool to be able to just come back and still be there check my messages, crafting, AH etc etc.. most won't understand this but for people who play socially and for hardcore, an afk boot would suck
what if someone wants to message me online and i got booted because i was afk. It takes away that life of in-game
plus there is a workaround for the situation thats going on, if you're smart you'll figure it out and why less and less people are complaining about it![]()

I'm sorry, but none of what you stated, in my opinion, is anywhere remotely a good enough reason to lock out THOUSANDS of players if not a whole lot more than that. The workaround of macroing the 0 key and spamming is considered automation and i will not risk a ban. I refuse to roll on JP servers. There should be no need to.

I agree with an AFK timer being put in place, 90% of the paid and free games I have played kick you after 15 min, if your legitimately waiting for an instance go work on your DoH, DoL or your Jobs required secondary class while you wait there is so much to do in this game while you wait for something. But these people sitting there taking up space is ruining what could be a good game, sure SE needs to move beyond a max queue of 250 and needs to lift these login limits if they truly want to test and fix the servers but for the time being people should be considerate to their fellow gamer and log off when not active and SE should introduce an AFK Kick policy
