I haven't been able to login once again we are back to no updates. It has been 7 hours since twitter was updated and no dev posts to show for anything.

I am at a loss as to how it could be this bad. 1.0 didn't even have these kind of server issues but I guess with SE if it's not one thing it's another. If there isn't horrible game play there's server issues and if it isn't server issues it's some critical bug...

They just got to work a bit ago in Japan, I am sure they're busy. Let them work. They can post on Twitter when it's fixed.

They have a US PR team and the US/EU data centers where the issue is happening are here in NA. What does people in Japan getting to work now have to do with people working on issues here in NA.

Well the last 2 days we had regular updates and then today they just stopped. It wasn't as bad knowing what was going on but to sit here unable to login with them saying "we are just going to ride it out" essentially is bad customer service. I have told many friends to play the game and now that they have interest, they all can't play either. Making me look pretty silly in the process trying to defend Square... 1-2 days ok... but we're on day 3 and an influx of players is coming tomorrow. [sarcasm]Can't wait[/sarcasm]

It looks that at this point, SE doesn't even care if they get our subscriptions. This is what a copy and paste response tells you. The Japan launch will go flawlessly, while we have less servers, with need for at least 6 more. This isn't a first impression. It's a second chance, and slapping all potential NA customers in the face is just going to make the game barren. While the dedicated won't care and still play, a poor launch will just add to bad press, and SE will lose a lot of potential subscribers. The monetary risk of adding servers is well worth the support of the fans that having a smooth launch will give. That's smart business practice. SE's business practice so far concerning NA is just....... mind numbingly stupid.
