Here is the plan: Spam the login server with as many requests as possible

I have a brilliant idea which is obviously the one envisioned for us by SE. Here is what we do: Try to login as many times as you possibly can. This will exercise the server muscles, making them stronger, as long as they are fed enough protein. They will eventually gain the strength they need to hold more players.

So the best thing to do, that which is clearly supported and encouraged by SE by their complete 100% lack of communication regarding how there is no queue system anymore, is to login as fast as you possibly can, as many times as you possibly can. This will be good for their systems, which have apparently been designed for this purpose.

If you could set up perhaps a software script that just sends fake login attempts faster than humanly possible, this would be ideal. Thank you for your consideration.

Pro tip: Starting from the Start menu, just spam NUMPAD 0. It will just try to log you on non stop.

I deeply agree! SE is keeping fritter away our patience from b 4 till the "b 5" !

As I know in my groups people try 100s times to login the game!

They are doing the silent protest, "you don't let us play the game which we paid! Then we just kill ur servers".

I get the impression I have to close the whole program, because when it's already open I feel like it gives me the 1017 too quickly to have really tried and looked in there. Confirm/deny?

I dont think so. coz everyone who cannot login is doing this: "Start, slect, ok,1017 ,OK" and start over and over.

Pretty sure it's something like this. It might be longer. I tried about 7 times starting at 9pm eastern, and now I'm in one hour later. I doubt people failing for 6 hours had the same method. I imagine them furiously spamming as quickly as they can, refreshing the timer that locks them out of communication.
