Actually Yoshida's influence already had some quite evident results. You're writing (quite a lot actually) on one of them.
he (probably not single-handedly, but that's beyond the point) revolutioned Square Enix's communication. That's, by itself, a rather sizable achievement.
And his favourite MMO is Dark Age of Camelot. He deserves praise even just for that. At the very least he has good taste.
