i just got off the phone with several divisions of sony who tell me that this is entirely square enix's problem and mistake and that they cannot and will not fix this unless square calls them to fix the issue themselves. unless of course you purchased through PSN. so i preordered a physical NA copy of FFXIV:ARR CE for PS3 and redeemed my 6-3-6-3 code and square gave me a 4-4-4 psn code for the wrong region. sony said square needs to fix this because they wont, and they will not exchange the code for one of the proper region. i have been on hold on live chat for 8 hours now and every time i get to place 2-6 in queue it kicks me out and makes me start from the back of the line. i have also place a few support tickets over the last 6 days and not one has been addressed. according to the newly up and running mog station the only way to activate ps3 copy and account is through psn and without the proper code you cannot. if you also have this problem please like this post and reply. if we get enough likes and posts square mods may notice and relay to devs.
