Inversely Rangers are not limited to bows, Guns, crossbows, or throwing weapons though.I don't agree that a gladiator is a "sword user" and an archer is a "bow user", regardless of what the translations say or what those words "mean". My job is an archer, and I am limited to bows. The level of my job determines my skills and hp and mp and def and eva and acc and everything else that makes you able to hold your own in a higher setting. In a literal sense, how well I use a bow should have nothing to do with my hp. I don't want to feel like I'm leveling up weapons. That doesn't feel like FF to me. I want to level up jobs, and use weapons, whether I am limited in my weapon selection or i have every weapon available. It just doesn't feel right.
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
