Obtaining/Using Behemoth CE Barding before owning a chocobo

so i got my CE barding on a level one new character. I right clicked it, used it, said i had obtained it and vanished from inventory.

Im assuming once I get my chocobo it will be applied properly? Can anyone confirm how this works please?

Can someone at least tell me where you can view the barding once its consumed? is it located on the mount page somewhere...does it just show up on the mount? is it managed in any sort of way?

Once you get a mount you will see a chocobo icon in your character page (at the top near gear sets) it's all managed in there.

Actually I used the item but it's not with my others barding .. I have the 3 barding from Twin Adders but Behemoth Barding didn't show after I used it :/

having the same problem the behemeoth chocobo not showing up anywhere only the cat mount. is it a bug ?


nvm: just figure out you can change your chocobo equipment lol

Bump, i used my barding before obtaining my chocobo mount as well, does this mean it's lost in no mans land or will it show up pnce i get the mount?

I thought I got my barding from the moogle, but I realized that I didn't click "take all" from the mail. When I tried to change the barding on my chocobo it was just not there. So, I decided to go back to the moogle, and clicked on opened mail, I clicked through all the mail and saw that on my chocobo barding gift I didn't click "take all" and there it was.
