No queue...is this a joke?

Please tell me this is just a cruel joke. EVERY server full, and no queue system in place to manage traffic. Even Everquest had a queue system 17 years ago.

This game is supposed to officially launch tomorrow, and you don't even have room for all of the pre-orders. Gimme a break.

The thing that annoys me is that most of us paid for early access, which has not really been "access" for the majority of it. Now I'm dealing with another wait; I should have just kept my money until I knew they had fixed these issues. It's beyond stupid that every game every company puts out always lacks server stability...you'd think after all this time they'd have some clue on what to expect.

Since there's no queue, am I really expected to sit here for an hour and keep "trying" to log in? Many people are just going to quit the client, not a very smart approach.

I don't think the in-game bug reporting section is a proper place for ranting about the servers being full due to it being so popular at the moment.

Actually it's the perfect place since most of us can't post anywhere else. Yes, their incompetence even encompasses their forums.

To the OP, yes, it's an absolute joke. The early access has been a complete and utter failure. They need to give a lot of folks something in return for this junk they've given us.

5 hours, consider yourself lucky. I'm now working on nearly 48 hrs of 1017. Great job SE!!!

Tell the Data center people that have no %&^#ing clue how to run it. They don't have enough backup for the amount of people trying to play. Huge fail on both the data center and Square's fault. This is shameful on the very Japanese level. Go throw yourselves on your swords. I guess we are getting the first month free now since we wasted our money for an unfinished product.

the reason the servers are full and no que is that there is no AFK system in place. you could log in and leave your toon in the game all day if you choose. in all other mmo's you would be logged out due to inactivity to allow others in. bad design (bug)

There is a queue system, I think that it has a cap on it too though. My experience has been- 'world is full, please try again later' message, close and restart client a few times, after a few minutes of trying I'll end up in a queue, last night I was in 4th place immediately and got in in a minute, other's I've been 300+
