With all the threads on the forums reporting glitches, and problems, and general complaining, I thought that it'd be nice to show some appreciation, considering there was, and is, a lot of work.
Just an all around thank you!![]()

I completely agree. Thanks for starting this thread. I think SE has done a great job transforming this game into something new and improved. Good luck with the future work!
O yea... Cue angry people....
....not gonna lie i was very impressed as from coming back to the game from the original FFXIV. when playing during the small open beta on ps3 i was some what thrown off when the US/EU servers kept going down. but now? god no they get zero thanks until they fix the mess this game is in. its like the old FFXIV is coming to haunt the new. and before you people (yes YOU PEOPLE) go "well leave if you dont like it!!" im not going anywhere. im staying this time because they changed so much from the original to something very good and i want to be there when this game becomes great as it should be.
until then SE will get my "Thank You" when i can come home everyday and not have to pray the US/EU servers are live.
I just want to get in the game. e_e I've been trying to log in for over an hour now. :/
No thank you from me until I get what I paid for instead of a 0-spamfest for hours on end every time I want to play.
I'd also like to say thank you for an amazing game. I'm currently locked out but, when i can play it's soooo fun! Just started CNJ and who would have thought healing would be so fun? Anyways, thanks to all the devs on making such a great and enjoyable game. Now just get those servers ironed out please.![]()
NO. JUST NO.
You don't thank someone for a product you paid for that you can't use. I don't want to listen to your boot-licking rubbish. You have to stand up for for yourself as a consumer and all you're doing by graciously thanking them is giving them a pat on the back for royally f****** up. I can understand the congestion, the downed servers, the frequent patches. What I CANNOT forgive is the absolute lack of foresight in not having a proper queue system in place, no auto-logout timer in place, and not being prepared to add new worlds immediately when necessary.
These things are inexcusable for a AAA MMO being released in 2013, over 15 years of launch day lessons they could have learned since Everquest and Ultima Online.
NO EXCUSE.

These thank you posts are undeserved and a true testament to people living a life where their expectations are low...SE has dropped the ball, enough with the thanks...a game is only good if it consistently playable.
Have to agree with a lot of others.
At the moment, my 'thanks' is my 30$ i spent to watch a login screen.
No real 'thanks' until the game is actually working. Besides, there's plenty of these threads already.
Well I think the "Thank You" thread is a fine idea! I was hoping to write a letter of encouragement to the dev team personally, but this is just as good.
And really, these people have made a wonderful game, are passionate about their work, and are one of the most tragic victims of circumstance. They have apologized until they were blue in the face and still haven't quit the project or resigned from their position to leave the game to flounder. That proves their passion. Anyone who believes that the development team doesn't deserve thanks has clearly never worked in retail or in any kind of a leadership position in anything in their entire lives and if they have, they are sorely lacking in any form of empathy.
