    If you'll forgive me for playing Devil's Advocate, when you started playing on your second, incorrectly registered service account what did you except would happen?
    That they'd let you keep a character's EXP and items/inventory you earned whilst playing for free on an account you didn't mean to create?

    Just save the appearance data and create the character again on the correct service account at lv1.

    Yes actually it was SE that made a totally new service account for me I had the CE from 1.0 and I played the beta for ARR/2.0 and instead of adding everything to the beta and pre-order account they made a 2nd service account for me so totally their fault.

    Maybe use your own intelligence before just assuming and not knowing all the facts not everyone created the problems themselves. It took me a week and a day 40+ hours in live chat to end up never reaching one person and a total of 52 hours on the phone to finally reach someone so if a you aren't upset with a company that messed up your account themselves through no fault of your own and then you took your own time almost 100 hours worth to try to fix it then you are the most patient person I have ever heard of.

    Instead of just assuming like a jackass, you should think before posting crap post like that. I had 2 codes, one for the pre-order and 1 for the full-game. Why do I have 2 accounts now? Because my 2 codes ended on 2 separate accounts. FYI, I just don't click like a blind person. I work in IT and adding a Service to my already created account was kinda obvious for me, but for SE it didn't mean what it was supposed to mean. Why would I want 2 accounts on purpose when a single character can be and do everything in the game?!?!

    I know which account is the right one and I SPECIFICALLY FILLED OUT THE FORM TO HAVE MY 2 ACCOUNTS MERGED LIKE IT WAS STATED ON THAT SAID FORM. Instead I receive a generic answer with another code without any concern from my tickets and/or the said form I filled out 2 weeks ago.

    So instead of acting like a smartass who knows it all, try to get your facts straight before posting.

    What about registering a 2.0 code to a 1.0 account how does one go about this. Cos damned if ive bought a game i cant register to my account and wasted money to not get the 30 days

    You do realize some players did register in the right Service Account and even so it created a new one ? It's not our fault that SE gives you a code to register, to get another code to register at another domain.
    It's not our fault they have a messy and confusing HUD in the first place at Mog Station. Please don't be ignorant.

    EDIT: Stupid submit button...Anyway.

    People here are not ranting because they registered it wrong. People are ranting because the Customer Support is atrocious. It's beyond terrible. We're sitting in a 790 page threat full of people with the same core problem. That alone should tell you something I suppose?

    790 pages later... and i finally received a registration key via email after (0) successfull attempts to reach a cs agent. Unfortunately I came across the email while clocking in at work so i wont be able to play till later in the day. I do recall someone posting about deleting saved game data on the ps3 to get the ToS agreement to pop up, is this necessary? I just dont want to make any mistakes when i do finally make it home to play. dont have the time to dig through these almost 800 pages to find all the post relevant. lol. best of luck for anyone still waiting for contact from SE:NA. see you in eorzea

    Also realize that the only on screen options for registering a the time was "Create a New Account" and "I Already Have an Account". Clicking either of these makes a secondary account. This has since changed.

    The people that did it right were either able to see there was something cut off at the bottom of the scree, so they scrolled down, or it was easy enough for them to notice the scroll bar.

    I know on my TV some games get cut off at the bottom and everything looks a little dark, so I didn't see either. Even then, the human eye naturally wanders to the giant green buttons that say "I Already Have an Account" and "Next", which is all you needed to press to create a new account.

    As someone that use to design websites and flyers, I can tell you a failure of User Interface is the fault of the designer, not the user.

    When I went to register my code on ps3 the only option was to create a new service account it never even gave me a chance to link it with a different one. I even closed and reopened the TOS again.

    At this point I have my char on Service Account 2 leveled to much to give it up.

    I don't understand why they can't merg the 2 accounts isn't that what I filled out a form to do??????

    I also have not gotten an email after filled out the form last week.
