No agent once again. For the second time. So, this is a total of 4 hours Square-Enix has wasted on me today. Not counting the 3 times this happened both thursday or friday.
It will soon total 24 hour of errors. Not couting, of course the 1017s when I could access my character. And, obviously, each time I go "back in line", there are more people, because they too are going back in line.
I'm not in the US, so I can't even try to call, tho stuff seems sometimes worse by phone by what I hear. I wonder if some sort of class law suit is possible. Not because the server errors, not because of the insane web design that led so much of us to make the same dumb mistake, but because of a customer service that made routine to ignore tickets and that straight out lied to us about how to fix this.
The form they told us to fill a week ago is useless, it is a red herring, it does absolutely nothing and they straight up told us the lie that it does something for whatever reason. The only way to fix this is talking to someone, and then they understaffed these someones in a way that the system is broken.
I never saw customer service that just ignored you, closed tickets without warned and they hid the real solution, which is still vastly broken. I don't like hyperboles, this is not hyperbole, this is literally the worse a company have ever offended me and each time it happens I feel more bad about myself not only about the notion of not respecting myself enough to give them money for this game, but to give them money for the rest of my life, for any game.
Tell me to wait 2 weeks, then, I'll pout and wait. Tell me the queue line for chat support is 7 hours long; I'll leave it running on the PC and go to the beach or something. Stop putting me through this emotionally draining gauntlet of errors where I can neither leave my house because I might just get support and neither can peacefully stay knowing that the wait is worth it.
Yes, it is only a videogame, but again, it is not the videogame, it is not the service account thing itself, it is this brutally psychologically intense ordeal they put us through to fix it that seems not only to disregard your user base, but to actively be cruel to them.
One mod here giving real support, telling people they know about this and that issue, working closely as an intermediate between us and them would help. But no. One single moderator showed up one single time and said stuff that helped no one about nothing and then disappeared.
I try to keep thinking of ways that they can make this worse and the only one I can come up is to ban me for these frustrated messages. Maybe it would be better to me if they did tho. It would suck to lose the money I spent on the game and it would suck to not being able to play it, but severing all my ties with this disrespectful and arrogant corporation might bring me some kind of piece of mind that this ordeal has stolen from me.
