    I logged in, and none of the tickets I submitted was listed, wow. So, just filled out a new one, and now it is listed. I guess oddly and sadly, makes me feel a little better. But pretty lame, that even after chat support, no update or anything. I wonder if it was because I was never actually logged in when I made those original tickets, guess thought I was or, me putting in my SE id, that it would have just updated.
    Hopefully after I get home from work, can get a hold of someone at the number. With a 2 hour + wait I can imagine.

    Thanks though, and good luck to the others with this issue.

    Many years ago in FFXI my account was hacked. It took SE 9 months to restore my account (still stripped of all valuables and gil.) So over all a 9 month process just to return my character completely stripped of all my hard work except for the missions complete and the levels gained.

    Basically what I'm saying here is that you should all settle in for the long haul. This isn't going to be over quickly.
    man don't tell us horror stories like that... I'm already less than hopeful as it is :/

    So, if I actually take the time to call and have this fixed tomorrow, will everything be resolved right then and there? Because I have a full time job and I work 12 hour shifts. I wont be home to do any console stuff...

    His was obviously a very original case. Not that I'm trying to downplay your example in any way rutsahl.

    While SE's CS is notorious for being bad, I think that in this instance, there are sooooo many people having this issue; it will eventually be fixed. It's just a matter of when.

    That's not necessarily me being overly optimistic either. I just think that this launch hit SE with so much crap that they really weren't prepared for it. People keep saying, "Don't use that an excuse." But what a lot of you guys don't realize is that SE was practically bankrupt after the original 1.0 launch of XIV. They hadn't had the money for a new support team. I'm not saying this is an excuse for them to not solve our problems. It's just going to take time.

    ...haven't you been reading any of these posts? The reason this thread got to 585 pgs is because of the abysmal customer support for NA. Really buddy, I hate to burst your bubble, but NA customer support could really care less that you have a full time job (I feel your pain though). I would try once or twice, but if things are already getting hairy at the start of their day, then I would wait it out.

    They will be able to resolve it without you doing anything, most likely; you will not need your console or the game itself on hand. However, it will most likely not get resolved "right then and there". While most EU players seem to get their situation taken care of immediately, most NA people have had to wait anywhere from 5 to 48+ hours after actually talking to an employee and getting their ticket escalated.

    This is, of course, assuming you actually get through to them and don't get hit with busy signal after busy signal. This is also assuming you have time to potentially sit on hold for 3+ hours even after getting past all the busy signals.

    I did see it! Gotta say, I'm shocked, as he blew a lot of us off who wrote in to him. I'm glad he said something about the issue, even if it was a tiny blurb. Maybe it'll help force SE to fix our accounts sooner, rather than later.

    Yeah im hoping they open it up. Even if they dont ill reroll on a different NA server cause i hear that they will be adding server transfers here in the next couple weeks.

    You're also forgetting to factor in the three days we've had yet to make any progress because of the long weekend.
