Actually, the more I think about it, I still would have pre-ordered the game. I wasn't legacy, so it was the only way to get Early Access.

No one at SE thought it would be a huge issue when the early access code you get for pre-ordering 2.0 was applied to an existing account, but the actual game code could not, and could only be used to create a new account? They couldn't put 2 + 2 together and see what monumental issues that might cause? lol.

Especially when, at least for the digital CE bought from SE, they never ever even bothered to send you the actual game code? I had to scour the internet and find a link to the Digital River order look-up in order to retrieve the actual game code, and the same was true for all members of my guild who did the digital CE pre-order.

I really don't see how you could "accidentally" do this.

Another case of people rushing through things and having little to no reading comprehension. My wife has never played an MMO and knew better than to not create a new account.

The original website only had add new service and add PLATFORM which MENTIONS ps3. They LATER updated it to include a huge WINDOWS buttons. I know you're dense and all but it helps to research it a little.

its obviously a low level player with a low level character. i mean look at that helm of light. no high level char would EVER put than on unless its an intended handicap.

The website was "fixed" after a ton made this error. The options to add a code to your account were Add platform or Add service, both had no information to what they did. To be honest why could you have been able to make a 2nd account on one user name.

I can tell you right now that they were lying about "fixing" anything. There is no "add service" button anywhere. The only "add" buttons are "Add platform", which turns into "Add Playstation 3 Service" after getting the screen saying that you have to add a new platform through PSN, and "Add New Service Account".

They didn't fix a single thing.
