Since service account 1 is no more days, i've been on service account 2. just sent in a ticket regarding character loss. Told em I would prefer account 2 to have early access code applied to it instead. Doubt that'll happen, but I'm very close to account one's highest character now.
great, spent over 2 hours in the chat que to end up WITHOUT a bloody agent.. thanks square enix, you not only fuck people when they try to play your game (the endless login problems and disconnects) but you also fuck them right up the butt with your support... gee wizz fucking thanks >.>
We don't know how SE:NA will react today. If they want to save face, they'll be prompt about fixing our problem. We are armed with information regarding out EU counterparts, we may be able to use that as leverage. How they react today when they open their chat lines at 12PM PST will be very important.
If you are an NA user, remain on 5/1 or, as I hear it, 5/5. Jumping to 5/2, 3, or 4 will not help you.

My apologies to everyone who is still having this problem and did not receive help so far. Please believe me, everyone here is working as hard as they can to help you. Unfortunately, due to the sheer number of inquiries, this takes longer than we would like and we fully understand that you are not happy with this situation.
To give you a better idea of what is happening with the chat, I'd like to confirm two things:
EU support helping US customersIt is not possible for EU customer support to help a US customer or vice versa. For data protection reasons, each region's customer support only has access to their own customers' information.Using a link to contact Square Enix directly via chat
- The link posted earlier in this thread is not an official way to contact Square Enix and the only reason why we have not removed all references to it yet is that we want to help you as fast as possible.Again, we're doing everything we can to help you as fast as possible but many of you will, unfortunately, still face waiting times over the next days.
- By using this link, you are bypassing parts of our support system and you may end up waiting in a chat queue for hours, simply because the chat is officially closed at that time and there's no one in the office to take your chat.
I know this is much to ask but please be patient and hang in there, we will help you!

We wouldn't need the link if it was easier to find the way into the support chat, but thank you for respond to our thread. It is good to see that SE might care, at least a little. Repairing the PR damage from this debacle may take some time, however.
Chat will be open at 12PM PST. That's 2 and a half hours from now, people. Even if you queue up now, like I am, there's going to be a wait. People may cycle through the queue simply by the way it works, but don't be fooled.
