You know, they could easily just do their job and help everybody here out to fix the problem. But instead people who call in get priority. That's RIDICULOUS.Just waited for about 3 hours on the phone and finally got through. I got an extremely helpful guy that sounded tired as hell and he sounded extremely surprised that I was polite. I know this is frustrating as hell guys, but when you finally get through, just remember that the customer service guys are just doing their job. Please don't take out your frustrations on them.

I agree 100%. I played by their rules, submitted a request and now it seems that was only the resolution for suckers. If you want results you have to spend a lot of time trying to reach their elusive agents.
Steps as follows:
1. Go on http://support.eu.square-enix.com/
2. Click on Square Enix Members on the bottom right
3. Click on one of the FAQs link
4. Click the button "This did not answer my question" at the bottom of the page
5. On the form, choose Account/Billing as the category and any sub-category you want, fill in the contact detail and hit next
6. Hit next on the page
7. you will be asked to choose one of the 3 options, email/chat/phone
Note that they only open 9am - 6pm UK time Monday to Friday

Have the same problem. Also couldn't tell where to put in my registration code and ended up creating a second FFXIV service. However, seeing as I can only play late at night due to 1017 maybe I should just wait a week and see if they fix my account AND the 1017 issue. Hopefully they will have a good thing here if they can get everything fixed in these first couple weeks without losing half their players and players to come from the bad word of mouth.

How sad. The worst company that I ever had to deal with. SQUARE ENIX, CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS IMPORTANT, making a decent game is only HALF the battle.

Going into my 4th hour of being on hold! Woo-hoo! I love this game! HOURS of involvement with the game. Too bad it doesn't actually involve, you know, playing on the account I paid for.
Really annoyed just like everyone else, trying calling all day from work and of course nothing but a busy signal...... Came home tried live chat (no available agents after 2+ hours in queue) and now sitting in queue again currently #163.......![]()
