I'm gonna end up paying more for this support call than I did for the game. I should've just bought a new copy. -_-
Got chat request done at 10pm EST, last night. 4:39PM EST here now, and no fix yet. I understand could take some time, just giving an update.
Hopefully by sunday it is fixed at least. Won't be able to play tomorrow night, or saturday night. Probably a good thing though way this is going, and the servers. Haha.
Just passed the 2hr mark wait on the phone. My chat with them just closed with the dreaded "No Agents Available".
This entire launch is so bad it's almost funny... almost.
I had my ticket escalated earlier today (about 8-9 hours ago) and still nothing. My ticket had been open for three days prior to calling in. The support person I spoke with did say it could take up to 3 days after he escalated it so I'm expecting to be unable to play tomorrow at this point. It boggles the mind that the term escalate means to INCREASE the PRIORITY of the ticket and yet it can still take 3 DAYS after doing that.
The support guy also said if there is no change in the account after 3 days call in again. Really Square? You're saying once I've waited 6 days I may have to ask you to do it yet again?

Today I got up with a day off to just keep my phone on speaker while calling AND in line with live chat. Though if I don't get it fixed by sometime next week. I'll prolly just give up on the game. as fun as it is. this is just an appalling mess.
I was on my 5th hour on hold and the call got dropped, now every time I press 2 for FFXIV the call gets dropped.

This post is more just an fyi that it isn't bad when they close your ticket and you still haven't had your account updated. Looks to just mean that it is in the process of getting fixed at that point.
I got on live chat this morning at 9 am PST right as they opened (NA support). Had about a 40 minute queue. They 'escalated' my ticket. I kept checking the support site and my ticket got closed about 40 minutes after my live chat session. Following that I waited 3.5 more hours while worrying that now I didn't even have a support ticket open. Just finished refreshing my mogstation account though and it now shows 31 days.
