Oooohhh, yeah. I kind of forgot that JP servers are steadily filling up now, too x: Seems like there are a lot of Westerners on Ridill actually. I'm in a 70+ member English-speaking FC, and two English-speaking linkshells...
Fuck. I may just stay here x:
Thanks. I just want my characters back at this point thats all. They will be able to resolve it without you doing anything, most likely; you will not need your console or the game itself on hand. However, it will most likely not get resolved "right then and there". While most EU players seem to get their situation taken care of immediately, most NA people have had to wait anywhere from 5 to 48+ hours after actually talking to an employee and getting their ticket escalated.
This is, of course, assuming you actually get through to them and don't get hit with busy signal after busy signal. This is also assuming you have time to potentially sit on hold for 3+ hours even after getting past all the busy signals.
If you make contact with an agent over the phone they're going to remind you of the 2 week notice you agreed to when you made your ticket, or they may give you no time frame at all. I was told a time frame of 1 week and if I saw no changes, I would have to call them back.
However, last week this thread was witness to numerous people getting their accounts fixed within 6-8 hours of their phone call, and my account was fixed 6 hours after I hung up with the guy.

So you were told a time frame of one week the first time you tried to fix your account? And then yours was subsequently fixed six hours after your first attempt at contact? If you make contact with an agent over the phone they're going to remind you of the 2 week notice you agreed to when you made your ticket, or they may give you no time frame at all. ("First attempt at contact." Jesus, it sounds like a fucking sci-fi movie...)
I know that one thing that is bothering is that the EU customer service department is actually working with players to FIX this nightmare. Sure, it can be slow, but there is always hope of getting on the line with someone who WILL repair the account. Here in NA, account repairs have been few and far between with very limited access to a human support rep. Even when a rep IS reached, they do nothing more than "escalate" the ticket, which means nothing. My ticket was escalated (and later closed)after being on hold for hours on end. Here it is 4 days later and I'm still waiting on my account to be repaired. Seeing the inequality of treatment between players and continents is just plain irksome.Yeah, man I have been reading these post.... It just bothers me. Sure, I made the mistake of creating a new account on the confusing interface. ( I claim that) But still, why should I and every other player that did the same thing be punished in this way? This is my first experience with a MMO. When I buy a game I am used to being able to play it to fit my schedule.( And play with my friends). I just want my beta characters back bro. Thats all.
At this point I'm prepared to just tell SE that I've suddenly moved to Europe from NA. I'm a EU player, honestly I am. Feel free to let the EU folks fix things for me.
Yeah I asked if he had a time frame for me, and he said to keep checking my MogStation account and if it wasn't fixed within a week that I would need to call them back with my ticket number. So of course I kept checking MogStation all day like a maniac.. and 6 hours later it was good to go.
