Pudding

As the name implies, I am having serious trouble finding pudding flesh which is an item that drops off puddings. The only problem is I can't seem to find the dang things.

The only ones I know of are from a leve in Quarrymill and some puddings in Thousand Maws but those don't seem to drop anything. (or maybe my luck is just awful)

Does anybody know where to find some puddings that drop pudding flesh? I'm pretty much on halt in my alchemy quest because a potion I need to synth requires this material.

I'd also like a location on Puddings. Cant seem to find them aside from the above mentioned. Need it for crafting

I want to know this too. Pudding flesh selling $500k on my server. It's not even for a star recipe, hopefully not something you can only farm from dungeon.

The only high level flans I've seen is the Pudding boss in Wanderer's Palace (Lv. 50 4man)

I've bought two off the market boards on my server for very cheap, but I haven't seen any posted since then. No idea where the two came from.

I was noticing this last night as well (the lack of puddings). I'm glad you've investigated Thousand Maws already, because that was next up on my list.

That would be pretty crazy if this turned out to be from Wanderer's Palace.

It seems like a bug to me. Maybe someone forgot to add it to the loot tables?


I'm on a legacy server and none have ever been sold on the AH. There's one up there just for show (something like 500,000,000 gil) but I'm assuming that guy got it a while back.

I don't think so. I'm on Goblin (non-legacy server) and have been progressing in ALC faster than most on my server, and so I came upon the need to use Pudding Flesh in recipes a few days back. The market boards had two (listed for 100 and 99 gil each) and I bought them, and the transaction history shows those two are the only that have ever been bought and I haven't seen any put up for sale since. This is a bit problematic for all ALCs, as we can't finish our level 45 class quest without Pudding Flesh to make the HQ Mega-Potion of Vitality.

I am a little surprised that no one is coming here and letting us know where this comes from. Clearly they drop, because they've shown up on my non-legacy server. Perhaps they're a drop from a high-level dungeon and most people just have it sitting around in their inventory and aren't aware they could be trying to sell it? Surely someone has to know.
