As we all know.. the worlds are full. At least for NA/EU.
Now luckily for me, I played and paid for 1.0 thus giving me legacy status and early access. So I'm not going to flip out about buying the game in the first place.
What I won't agree with is that if I have to pay my monthly subscription, at least for the first month (or how ever many months this will take to remedy the world is full junk) only to be able to play for an hour or two each day if I'm lucky.
Yesterday an LS mate was not able to log in for about 6 hours.. if not more. They did all their errands the day before just so they could dedicate all of, or most of yesterday to progressing in this game.. It wasn't until the 90000 crash that he was finally able to log in because people were starting to log back in.
He's not the only LS member that was having this problem. There were quite a few more.
Now imagine if this was implement indefinitely (Dear God, I hope not).. can you imagine if your LS had a schedule dedicated to doing events? Can you imagine a whole host of people, especially officers, event leaders, even your LS leader not being able to login?
Now this problem exists just with early release. Tomorrow there's supposed to be the full release.
SE do you know how bad it's going to be? Do you realize how many complaints you're going to see/receive? Do you realize the image this is going to create? First impression is EVERYTHING, and NOT being able to play this game AFTER paying for it, oh man... not going to look good at all.
Gamers, game magazines, game communities in general... are going to have a field day. "Great quality game, plenty of content to start off, but unable to play the game"
There's so much more I want to say, but this is a legit rant that I'm going to end shortly.
If this is supposed to be this way (world is full, please try again), there really isnt' any reason for any paying customer to play this, or attempt to, nor pay for a service that is incapable of satisfying the customer.
A simple analogy. You need a simple 4 cylinder, economic vehicle to go to work and back home with.. you purchase this vehicle because it has great value, it's easy to maintain, it's simply a quality vehicle that you believe meets your needs.
After purchasing this vehicle.. this vehicle is only able to start at random. Sometimes turning the ignition one time gets the car going, sometimes two attempts... sometimes 50 attempts, sometimes you finally give up, and use your other vehicle.
Honestly, if everything is working as it should, except for this random no start.. I would be quick as heck to demand a refund and move onto another vehicle of the same caliber, without the discontent.
So with that said.. SE you're close to losing at least 1 customer. Some of you guys may think, "oh boohoo you cry baby, so leave then".. this is what SE should PREVENT from happening. Especially on the large scale that it is now and especially after tomorrow's official release.
