When everything is more balanced people will transfer where they want.. in the mean time we can play even in JP server and transfer later to where our friends are playing.
Is this possible?
PS: btw how do you even get a World transfer? xD

It's likely that they will just ignore us and expect us to pay the server transfer price when they become available. -_-
World transfers aren't available now. Last word was they expected to implement them at a fee sometime in september. Right now, with a RIDICULOUS number of servers constantly locked for character creation, and a few (including my own, Leviathan) seemingly permanently locked, Square-Enix doesn't seem to understand that people want to play with their friends on an MMO. What a joke.
I don't know if they have transfers implemented yet. If they do, I'd gladly play on another server until things settle, then either stay if the server satisfies me, or pay for a transfer back to a larger server several weeks from now.
its not like there are any NA servers that arent 'full' anyway
at best you may get an occasional queue, but by tomorrow, even those will be up shits creek
An unprecedented joke. Hey, what are the odds. I want to get on Leviathan too and it's been perma locked since shortly after EA started! I wish there was some way to get the severity of this message across to Yoshi P. I'm starting to become less than impressed with the dude as I feel he's been handling the whole situation far too poorly. He might single-handedly be responsible for the loss of hundreds or thousands of subs if this persists into the official launch.World transfers aren't available now. Even if they implement world Transfers in September.. we can play normally in any low populated server with some friends and after things settle we can transfer and go where the rest of our friends are.
SE should give us a few Free World Transfers so we can play right now without the terror of error 1037
This. Even Lamia (which was a light-pop server, and was the overflow for our guild) has now blocked registration.
Wanna play with your friends? Tough. All we can do is hope SE responds well to this issue. Gotta keep dreaming I guess...
Indeed. There was a brief moment saturday morning where we got one friend on, but we still have 4 guild-mates unable to get on Leviathan, on an overflow that's locked itself, and ZERO acknowledgement from SEAn unprecedented joke. What are transfers going to do? Try to create a new character and you'll find that only 1 world is currently open to new characters. This is RIDICULOUS!
I am actually laughing right now at how farcical this launch has been. Restrictions on character creation right off the bat. Now way for the player to know if they'll ever be able to log onto the server as we get an error message 1017 constantly.
