I would like to refund my copy of the game as I have no access to the product I've purchased. Thank you.

Only if you bought it from Square Enix NA though.
brings back memories of diablo 3 launch, that was like a good week long ordeal practically. Guild wars 2 launch also suffered from long maintanences and server downage shortly after its launch. i have pretty much excepted that servers get congested the first few days of mmorpgs, its not even necessarily SE's fault, its all the afkers and the amount of people congesting the servers.
Yeah and I'll never understand why but it's intolerable to some people to have to wait to play games.brings back memories of diablo 3 launch, that was like a good week long ordeal practically. Thanks PsychicKoala, that is the best lead I have seen all day.
I paid to play the game. I did not pay to wait to play the game. Given the number of launches in the evolution of MMO's that have not been full of game breaking issues, players do want to wait for launch problems to be fixed...they quit playing the game and rightfully so if that is the choice they make.
Of course it's your choice, I wouldn't have helped you out if I thought it wasn't it. But me personally, I've waited for this game for years, a few more days isn't going to cause me any hinderance at all. And I have never seen an MMO launch without issues. This is normal for me for the 10 years I've been playing these games, and while it sucks I've learned to accept it and not give a flying leap if I wanted to keep my sanity.I paid to play the game.
