    The problem is all the people who log in and never log out...and SE incentivising the behavior with 1017 errors. Post in this thread and get SE to make a real solution to the problem, not a patch fix like 1017.

    My patients are running thin. 2nd day in a row and I can't płay my legacy account. SE doesn't have he decency to que in. It feels more like casino rather than an actual paid serves. I'm not subbing to have a chance to play with high odds against playing, but rather I'm paying to play. There's no enjoyment in being restricted from a service we all paid for.

    I thought it was common practice for any large scale MMO to have an AFK system in place. I was quite disappointed when I found FFXIV did not. We are going to be paying monthly for this game. I sure as hell won't be paying my subscription if I can't even log in to the game which is a damn shame because this is a really good game with the server issues set aside.
