Bumping this. I agree. This RSS needs to happen. I'm trying to get a feed going for our guild website to show in game activity from our guild as well as news from the lodestone.

I would like to ask a bit more concretely for this: Would it be possible to get the following implemented?
We would like RSS feeds which match the content categories listed on the Lodestone news page. We would be happy if those feeds only showed up for the news section pages on the Lodestone and listed the same content as clicking each of the news content category buttons at the top of the section. They also do not need links in the page content itself; using the standard method for discovery (tags in the page header) is sufficient.
This should not be a difficult project (a great project for a new hire to learn the system AND do something that the community would love!) or one which should cause any actual change in site functionality. The only change most people would notice would be if their browser notified them of news feeds available on a page, and it would not be unexpected to see a feed notification on a news page.
As all links in the RSS feed would be back to the Lodestone, this should not have a negative impact upon Lodestone viewership. Indeed, as the Lodestone would be linked to from more places, it may actually create a more engaged and profitable user base. Games requiring a subscription pretty much need long-term players; making it easier for those players to stay informed tends to increase subscription longevity.
This is something that the FFXIV community cannot adequately do ourselves, and which requires Square Enix to do properly. The best we can do is load Lodestone pages, scrape them for content, then repurpose the results as an RSS feed. This is subpar for performance, causes excess server load on both the implementer's system and on the Lodestone, and is frightfully fragile.
I realize that RSS feeds are provided for the forum. This, however, is not so useful for those of us who want notification of news on our device of choice. Personally, I stopped paying attention to the news articles in the launcher as I tend to notice them halfway through logging in (training myself to finish logging in was more work than not reading the news), so I have to go back and enter my username, password, and security token again after reading something. And most of us don't have the Lodestone's News page set as our home page.
Those of us who miss the feature would be eternally grateful to see a usable implementation appear. And, as I said before (and which your own data likely backs up), an engaged userbase is a profitable userbase.
Thank you.

The Lodestone is still lacking an RSS feed! Please let us know this request is being passed on to the web team!

At least it's better than nothing
Another year, still nothing. I wanted to add news to my Discord server. The feed provided above needs credentials to use.

Hi, has anyone found a way yet? Thanks!

Yeah, we really need one, in every language !
