I agree with this completely. It's extremely frustrating that I can barely get into my server, and seeing tons of people just standing around only makes it more annoying.

I agree 100% the inactive need to be removed from the game after a set amount of time. Maybe make it harsh with the current restrictions in place so say 15 minutes and amend this when the population cap is increased. No one is going to log out of the game if they can't log back on for 3 days.

The only time I've managed to get onto my "main" character is after 11pm GMT and since I have a life and a job I'm too tired to actual do anything after this.

The problem with AFK is directly linked to the problem with being unable to login. When they fix that, the AFK problem would cease to be a problem. I know alot of people who refuse to log out when they are done playing because often they can't get back in for a day or sometimes even two days. That was the case for me after logging out...I was locked out for over a day. I get it and I don't blame people who don't want to log out. I log out at the end of the night but during the day if I'm going to be playing off and on, I don't log out because of this problem. It is what it is I suppose. I really hope SE can get a handle on this quickly.

Because the queues number will make people doesn't want to take queue.

The queue system is still there. It only goes up to a certain limit and the you get the world full 1017 screen.

I agree with the OP. I'm afraid I'm guilty of falling asleep whilst being logged in and it's taken this thread to inform me of what happens when you are AFK for a while.

Paying for it now (Karma), because I can't log in (1017), but over the past few days I've seen plenty of AFK people who are still in the same place hours later...

Sorry to anyone who couldn't log into the game whilst I was asleep. Been told...backside smacked...won't do it again.
