Request: Boot inactive players so active players can log in

My wife is currently logged in. There are vast OCEANS of people standing around Ul'dah AFK. It really destroys immersion more than a Miqote or two running around naked.

I've come to a truly hard decision, and I think it will be the only way that SE realizes there is a problem. It is time to stage a protest. Here is how this will go: If you can get logged in, do not log out. Don't play the game. Find an aetherite and just stand there. Preferably go to a city and do it there.

If you can't log in, do not pay. Do not get a subscription. Just don't pay for the game.

Im a new player and im sorry even though this is early access game comes out tomorrow and its only gonna get worse SE needs to get head out of @#%@# and fix it, either add more space let people xfer to new servers for free to boot afk players after 10 min so many people on my server stay afk and im not gonna lie but i my self have stayed afk because other people do it and its the only way i could actually player yesterday

No AFK timeout is completely ridiculous. This isn't FFXI, where people need to stand their mules out selling garbage in their bazaars to make a living. Idle characters need to be disconnected. This is MMORPG 101 shiz.

I cannot believe you are squandering this magnificent second chance, SE. The critics are going to eviscerate this game [again] if this persists through tomorrow, and it'll be a shame because there is a decent game walled away behind these ridiculous screw-ups.

Definitely needs an afk boot system. Friend of mine has been spitting rage after just logging in cause he says theres AFK flocks near the Aetheryte in Gridania. Obviously people are now, knowing the trouble to actually get in, going to just idle on server when they have to step away. This helps no one.
If SE is really pushing for this release tomorrow, although I saw the Early access got pushed to the 29th? or something, this game is just not ready.

Take it down, take a week, and fix the issues. MAKE SURE the issues are fixed, and that's it. No solid response to approach the issue, or ETA will be the downfall of this MMO. People can only take so much nowadays before they're lost for good.

Got a second chance, and blowing it like SimCity.
