Request: Boot inactive players so active players can log in

Well, let's hope they do something about it, because I was seeing people in the chats saying that they were not going to log out at all tonight to avoid having to wait in queue or getting that damned error 1017, world full. They seriously need to get on this, restricting logins and keeping people locked out is going to lose them a ton of subs! But, I do agree, they do need to implement an afk timer as well.

Why is this not already done? Shouldn't every MMO have this as a basic part of it's game code? Please fix this now... we cannot even log in because of this stupid problem.

I agree completely. I think the smoothest launch I've seen with an MMO is Rift, this is one of the worst. This game has great potential, but doesnt implement fundamental technology such as AFK timers. Its sad that people that work 8+ hours a day come home to relax and want to play, but cant because people are still logged in from last night just sitting afk...

Yes I agree, PLEASE implement a system whereby people who are not active for at least 20 mins+ should be kicked out.

I just think it's so weird that it seems as though SE may genuinely have shipped the game without an AFK kick.

Its pretty obvious to me that SE just doesn't care. The fact that they don't have an AFK timer currently isn't something I think they just forgot to add. They just don't care if you are AFK all day.

Come on SE, this is a no brainer. IT should take you a few minutes to write a script, then about 10-30 min to implement it. You'd make your fans happy.
That being said, I leave my char logged in all the time because I can never log in :P but I'd be happy if you kicked me when i am
