Request: Boot inactive players so active players can log in

This seems like an obvious way to fix the 1017 issues. I would like to request this to be added to the game.

Please fix this. Let me tell you about my neighbor. We work together, saw him at 7:45am and he left his character logged on. He was afk for 8 hours, came home and resumed playing. He was never logged off. Why is this allowed? Paying players want to play, but can't.

If you aren't going to fix the AKK issue, then find a way to create more room so everyone can play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I'd really like to believe they are already doing this, but the few times I get in game, I see people idling everywhere... and the ones not idling are sending messages about how the solution is to never log out. Even if it's just temporary - even if 10 or 15 minutes is extreme right now - the official launch is about to happen and the game still can't even hold up the pre-order players.

Not a perm fix but it would be a start. A sign that they are trying and do really care.

I would also like to see a queue. So I can go do something and have an idea of when to come back so I can play and not spam the start button...

I just went to try to log in. I was in a queue of 204. I thought "Yay, I'm going to get in now, it will put me in," but no. The server was locked while I was in the queue and it is now back to 1017 hell.

This is getting really annoying. Two days in a row I can't get in to just play for a bit after work...... If I can't get in tomorrow when I pick up the disc after work... I'm going to be pissed.

What pisses me off is I got right in this morning and then logged out thinking: you know what? I want to be nice to other people who log in. Let them get to play. Apparently I'm too nice for this game and should have just been another of the jack wipes who are AFKing in my spot.

I understand that you are working on a fix. That's nice. Please make this less frustrating for people with doing as the OP said here -- whatever length of time you choose, I don't care, just kick AFK people. Then, also eliminate the 1017 error -- GIVE ME A QUEUE! I don't care if I'm #1,000,000 in the queue. Just DON'T make me spam a button for a random chance at a slot. It makes no sense and is horrible customer service. It means there are people who just get lucky and get in after 1-2 minutes while some people spam it for 6 hours.

And, you see, I was dumb and believed there was a chance this would be fixed while I was at work today. So, I logged out after crafting some this morning. I usually hate being the person to do something like this, but I'm not logging out again until multiple people confirm they haven't seen a 1017 in several days.

I love this game. But, I don't know how it will be received overall if this is the status of things at the official launch. You supposedly made a game for new MMO players. This particular issue screams the opposite.
