I agree with you. There have been a lot of people saying that this is to be expected of an MMO and while that is true, the NA/EU servers of FFXIV: ARR should have been prepared and managed better. The original FFXIV was a massive failure. SE should have put as many resources to ensure a problem like this didn't occur.

This is the critical point, given the mega-failure of V1, V2 can't afford the luxury of the mega-fail it's getting right now.
