An error suggest a mistake somewhere...there is no mistake, it is all planned by them, even stated by them to help maintain server stability by only letting a select few.

So 1017 is infact not an error, from a certain point of view.

Locking people out of the server instead of actually addressing the problem is a pretty classless move. I cannot get a refund due to my code already being shipped, but I refuse to use it to activate my account. When early access is over and my account is no longer active I will find another company to support financially. A shame really because I was enjoying the game... although I was able to play more of it on a beta weekend than during EA.

So what happens tomorrow when more people try to play the game are they adding more servers? This is getting ridiculous waiting 4hrs+ to try to get into the game and when I do get on for like 2 1/2hrs i get 90k error. But there are a lot of people AFK 6-12hrs while they are at work and they don't get kicked. This sucks, I should have went to a jp server.

Well, if these login-restricting tactics continue into official release tomorrow, (and there's absolutely no reason to think they won't), I'll be contesting the purchase on my credit card. This is beyond unacceptable, the game isn't worth paying for at this point.

Really horrid customer service and amazing the arrogance of that hollow apology without offering anything to the player base. This is definitely the worst launch since WoW vanilla. After the re-launch you would think the company would "pretend" to care about their players. This is launch a big Eff U to MMO players - free-to-play games exhibit far better customer service skills that square E.
