I cant believe I honestly spent the extra money or any money on the pre-order. Nice early access bonus square...."you can play early!!!..but not really." It is sad this wasn't better tested before being released to the public. It is sad that buyers are your beta testers and that no one can play and when or if you can get in......EMERGENCY MAINT....or nothing works right. Pathetic. Get it together square 1017 is ridiculous. It's not like you don't make enough money off of fans and the general public as it is to provide more than enough servers for initial release. What a joke. Then you want to charge a monthly on top of this!? lol this game will be free to play in no time hahaha I will not recommend this game to anyone. #Fail

I doubt I would waste my time with it even if it was F2P. The inability to login to play it is a huge turn off free or paid.

even though it's like 7-8am in japan, i tried logging in, and yes even with the time frame, i logged on, first try, zero issues, on a JP server. little bit of lag, but that's to be expected. anyways, i saw, and counted, in 30min, 28 individual people, in the major city. (limsa, if anyone cares.)

now i'm deciding if i'm going to just re-roll on JP, or, not get a subscription after my 30 days.

The problem is all the people who log in and never log out...and SE incentivising the behavior with 1017 errors. Post in this thread and get SE to make a real solution to the problem, not a patch fix like 1017.

I'm more disappointed in the response and apology we received. Basically it states SE giving us the finger saying first come first connection the rest of you go home you are not worth worrying about SE already has your pre-order money.

Bingo - (that is how I feel, even though I am a CE 1.0 user, still feel ignored)
