Its Crunch Time. SE add More North American Servers To Relieve Congestion.

I have friends and family that cant play, or make characters on the legacy server me some other family members are on. Im pretty sure im not the only one that invited friends and family members to come pay with them.

I think its ridiculous that little Japan gets 25 Servers While America/Europe/Mexico/Canada/Australia/New Zealand share 25 servers. This is the biggest reason why the north american servers are full.

Please SE make additional North American Servers/Legacy Servers and allow us to have free Transfers again. Its only Early Access and players cant play on servers they want. What do you think is going to happen on official release?

Its Crunch time, something needs to be done. Im going to be disappointed if i cant play with the people i invited.

They can probably make additional normal NA servers, but I doubt they can add more legacy servers, since legacy servers are where the original characters were in the first place. At least until they start implementing transfers.

At any rate I know Yoshi apologized and everything, but it would have been nice if he said what they were going to do to ensure everything works alot better this evening/tomorrow at launch, instead of just "certain lobby servers had been improperly configured".

Not really comforting that he's still sticking to the restricting log in because of heavy server load. The load just get worse as more people come into the game.

I think they have enough servers as it is, they just need to increase the capacity on the servers. We don't want to play in ghost town servers in a couple of months now, do we?

Your assuming that when i said create more servers i meant create alot of servers. All we need is like 2 legecy, and like 4 regular.

Increasing the capacity can only go so far untill we have lag.

But everyone can join legacy server. What about the servers in the JP datacenters. Are they also already full? if not, why not join them? They are not region-locked after all.

At this point, I believe SE has realized that their game is way more popular than they anticipated, but they also do not want to add servers, just to have them abandoned after the free month. It's a shame, because the game itself is fantastic, we're just limited to how many can play it at once. You could have had a great thing here, SE, but you're choosing to squander it. The damage has already been done with EA and now the apology letter. Player base would have decreased anyway, but this is the wrong way to go about it.

The population will definitely tapper off if players cant play with people they invited (friends and family) . I dont think having people wait a month just to start over on another server is wise. Its better to create more servers now to keep people playing.

Big groups of family and friends are MMO games biggest hope of surviving since these people spread the word to have more family and friends play (Increasing Subscriptions). If big groups cant play with each other, then that whole group will move on to a different game creating a drastic drop in players base(Subscriptions).

I would if they allow us to transfer for free, but then how long till its full. lol .

They should not create additional servers. They do need to increase the capacity of their lobby server and enable queueing.

I would rather wait in queue now then have dead servers and mergers in two months.
