Lancer not able to roll "need" on lancer gear.

Just did a run in Cutter's Way. No heavy armor peices dropped, but two leather chests dropped.

As a DRG, the first was a good one so naturally I hit pass so the BRD can get first dibs on good leather first since I'm hoping against hope a tank might pass on scale class armor so I can get it. ( Long shot. But being polite works right? Right? )

Fast forward to end of dungeon. A second leather chest drops. I decide to use it since the dps stats were alot better than my current, even if the defense dropped off a bit since it was leather instead of scale armor ( The Vendor bought steel scale chest. ). BRD proceeds to get upset I rolled on it.

System doesn't want me rolling on scale armor. Players get mad if I roll on leather. What am I supposed to do? Play naked?
