Please, please, please give us a way to easily transfer crossbar/macro/gear sets between PC and PS3 (and in the future PS4).

Playing regularly on the PS3 and PC, its a monumental pain to update everything when I switch platforms. Sometimes it takes me over 30 minutes to update everything if I've been particularly active during the week.

Please hurry with this for PS3! For a subscription based MMO, it's a joke that the gear sets, hotbars and other things aren't automatically saved server side like every other MMO. You say in another thread it's too costly to expand the servers but other games are doing this, so that reason confuses me when this game seems to be doing well.

If we have to use this backup and restore workaround, I think it should have at least been ready for PC - PS3 before release to be honest. I payed for a separate copy on each platform with the understanding I would be able to switch freely between the two. That's just too much of a pain to do at the moment.

Please get this sorted so I can play on both platforms without having to keep checking through every hotbar and gearset for every class

OK so this thread talks about copying settings from one computer to another, and using the new tool to backup settings on a computer...is there a way to transfer HUD layout from one character to another? I saw the path posted to the CHR00somethings, but how do you know which is for which character? I looked at them and they are all .dat

i'm also a pc / ps3 user on 2 accounts, my gf's and mine.. SE this has to be made a done deal for 2.15. we already could backup n restore settings PC side by copying CHR folders... why wouldnt sony allow this or help more on something so simple

Also looking for an update on this. I play primarily on PS3, but today I am having to apply months and months worth of changes on the PC installation. I bought a separate copy for each platform with an understanding that I could switch between platforms freely. Please make this easier to do soon
