She want her view to be view by SE, but she does not even play. She say she casual but she here on at any hour even at 2-3am. she have the right to be here because players that don't play are the players SE want in this game. But she dislike every thing that she does not like. She just don't understand that time sink is a part of the game and you can make something fun and hard without having to waste time. She even dislike things that could be enjoy by both casual and hardcore.

If you want a rare item it should be rare not something you can get within 30mins how is that rare then? in any game even casual games like wow there item that take hours to get. Few pet items took me 5hours for it to drop even days and even rare items. So yes the game need some type of item that you can't really get without using your time.

even casual can get it they just need to waste more time. SE need to make this game in the middle like i said in my last post. getting 1-20 is that really casual? even in wow i can't get 1-20 even with full BOA not even with friend link account.

very observant of you good job! the fact that she wants the game eventually, gives her all the more reason to her opinions. The fact she has played FFXI gives her enough exp to discuss basic FFXIV mechanics... also anyone who loves this game can watch videos, and read information on all mechanics and content to know what they like and do not like.

outside of buying the literal game its not like any of us are paying for the game... so you cant even use that logic.

So, I recently started playing ff:xi again. I used to be a hardcore player but now I'm extremely casual, maybe an hour a night on the weekdays and 3 to 4 hours on the weekend. I was never able to get a claim on leaping lizzy in the 4 years I played hardcore but today I decided to jump on at lunch time and move my samurai to konstacht so when I got on that night I wouldn't have to waste time moving. Well, the same 3 people have been camping lizzy since Friday when I first started leveling sam. Well, I took a choco and on my way I saw her, got claim and got drop.
I hope you see where I'm going with this, now I'm pretty sure a lot of hardcore players were calling for 24 hour respawns. But that doesn't stop a casual from getting claim and getting drop before you.
The magian trials however I noticed was a perfect bit of content for hardcore and casual, I know that its gonna take me at least a month to get anywhere with that. If I was playing like I used to before I got married, had kids, got a job...I could have it in a week.

In closing my point is this: trust SE, they make video games for a living, I'm sure whatever they come up with will make everybody happy in some form. Yeah they botched the release of this game, shit happens, they're fixing it.

Her problem, though, is that she is very misinformed and anyone who tries to inform her is immediately shot down and labeled as "hardcore" because we 1) Know how things really are and 2) We don't agree with her.
