The Thread Title is The Growing Entitlements of Casuals.... What exactly do they feel they are entitled to? Nothing but so called hard corers say how they are entitled it seems.

you would think that, but you should see some of the wild claims of the so called casuals in this thread

May be more productive to start a thread called " This is what Hard corer's want" and one for "This is what casuals want" maybe. In here seems fruitles to be honest.
yeah, lets be honest
90% of players in MMOs have entitlement issues regardless of what they are classified as lol

Thevedis - I think most people here agree with that. The only thing that happens is these discussions get overlayed with discussions around 24hr pop NMs, which most casual players are against because you might never even see the content without reordering your life around a pop time.
I know that I am completely okay with challenging content that takes a long time to work your way through. Just give me the ability to work on it in manageable chunks. Long story arcs just need to allow me to pause and take break and resume later. Super long dungeons are great, but let me save my progress when I finish a floor and pick it up later. Never ending arenas are fine, etc...I'm even for extremely, rare HNM pops, but I'm of the opinion that a rare HNM attack should be an unexpected attach, not just sitting around during a random time waiting for it to pop.
EVERYONE wants challenging, engaging content to enjoy. As a player with less time to play, I just want to be able to save where I'm at and come back to continue working towards the objective later. Players with more advanced characters should be able to complete content faster, get gear faster, etc - because their characters are more advanced and they'll earn cool gear faster putting in time, and because they are 100 hours ahead of me in the game they unlocked content and story elements. But when I've put in that time (on my schedule) i should be able to be at a similar place as they were at 100 hours. It shouldn't be based on whether the 100 hours is consecutive or broken up into chunks. I know that's all I'd like.
I'm a member of a largely end-game LS - but I don't tag along on NMs (the real ones), and I don't expect them to hand me over any end-game gear. I appreciate when the 45 Armorer helps me craft something that I've collected the pieces for, but that's the point of having a community that interacts and works together. Players with less time on their hands just want to work towards the same goals at their own pace. We aren't expecing to be handed the results of the work faster. There will always be people who argue at the fringes to make things harder/or make things easier/or me me me, but I do not believe this is the bulk of the community. Most people just want a game they can sit down, play, enjoy, and make progress...and that progress should most certainly be tied to the aggregate time you spend playing, not just the time you spend per sitting.

Just ignore Kilta, TheVedis... it's not worth fighting with her, and she's made it clear that her intention is to get the thread closed. Best to just not take the bait.
Cuz it needs to be closed its one massive flame war full of ppl insulting each other over a video game. You so called adults with you're so called education in gaming, psycology, neurology and what not should see how stupid this is.
We are adults fighting over content in a video game. Do you know how pathetic that looks.
