Does that happen for blizzard also? just saying because i hear lot of ppl saying blizzard listen to there players way too much even i say it without really knowing. there still loads of bugs but players say well you know blizzard want money. so they would bring a lol pack out just for it and guess what we pay for it

i hope what you said is true about SE now because back then they did not listen and i enjoy the game very much.

WoW developers do implement changes based on the forums IMHO but those changes are balance issues between classes. WoW is heavily rooted in PvP were Final Fantasy XIV is not, balance issue are not as much of an issue here at least not till PvP comes out and every one screams ARCHER OP!

ya that why am hoping ffxiv wont have much PVP and players wont do them as much but i see it happening -.- i don't want PVP to mess up PVE like most game happen. I think they should have two rule set.

When you enter PVP is balance for PVP but when you leave it Balance for PVE. I think this is the best way to make this work. I don't see this being such a hard thing to do but i could be wrong.

We are ALL gamers. There is nothing separating us other than how much time we can put into the game and our own personal opinions based off of past MMO experiences. Not all players with more time to waste want time sinks and not all players with only 4 hours a week to play want crap handed to them. Generalizations and discrimination will tear this community apart.

No, I'm not "wrong". You're the one making generalizations. You boiled everything down to "wanting things to be more difficult." That's very broad, and doesn't really prove your point in any way.

There are many similarities between the less active players wants and the active player wants. Sure, there are exceptions of people who fall into the "less active" that want things similar to the "active" players and visa versa... but it is not common. There is a reason that the labels "casual" and "hardcore" exist. Because the majority of players that fall into one of those categories want similar things. Hell, even developers use this language, so you can't pretend that the distinction doesn't exist. Now, there are also extremists within these categories as well, which are also not common (though the arguments that occur between camps always focus on the extremist arguments, which gets people nowhere... and the extremists tend to be the most vocal).

But you're missing the point entirely. The point is that there needs to be some middle ground between styles of play. And if steps aren't taken to either: A) bridge to the middle ground or B) create content tailored to each style (read: tailored to, not "only for"), then one of the groups of players that prefer a style is going to be discriminated against.

But but there casual that play 4hours and try to get everything i nthe game and would enjoy difficult. Once again it about how you use your time. Smoeone who have 4hours to play can easy win a person who play 8hours. Now how would you do that? easy the 4hour player play less so he found easy way to do things and he more skill player. So ya at the end there just dumb labels which there is more and more play type then just that.

but i do agree we need a dam middle ground in this game.

well I was using ppls dislike to an advantage if they focus on me they all agree to not like me. Was doing it to stop the fighting. Anyway i don't really take what ppl say to heart. As to hold a grudge. Also not to sound odd, its hard to stay mad at ppl with hot characters (guys only :P ) Sorry I love a guy with pointy ears :P more so with a slight emo or dark look. Like a few guys here :P

Plus I'm more nicer in game anyway. :3 untill my brother bugs me.

so, if a person with a part time job and one with a full time job both want to buy a car and the ft guy has the money in say 6 monthes, but it takes the pt guy a whole year, then the car salesman should refuse to sell the pt guy the car, because as we all know only ft guys "work hard" and deserve a car

Funny but that real life and this is in game they could make it work for both ppl. top of that the part time guy would get a car if he have enough to pay for it a month lol.
