Endgame?

I can't post in general discussion.. I just want to know about Endgame from someone experienced in FF XIV

I just want to know what can you do after you hit level 50 and you finish the main story..

Can you farm armor sets..? that's one of the most fun things to do in mmo's

Can you farm expensive items to sell?

Besides those 2 things I really want to know what people do after the main story and level 50

Playing other class types is one option, as well as dungeons, crafting, etc. They will be adding more levels later, 50 is just the starting off cap. It's not the actual "end game".

Yup. Like most MMO's you can craft, farm armor sets , farm achievements too ( like pwning every primal's ass probably ) etc..etc..

Yoshi also told the latest content ( tower of Bahamut if I remember the name ) would be kinda hard to complete . More challenge = more fun heh ?

There's also thing you gotta do in your grand company and in your free company ( if you got one )

I have never been a crafter of MMO's EVER!!!! but this crafting system has me absolutly hooked to where I am only leveling my jobs to do guildleves and levequests and dungeons to make money to support my addiction lol.

Also from what I hear the endgame for bahumut should be a challenge. I believe Yoshi suspects only 100 people able to beat Bahumuts coil up until November. I believe that this is the very few percentage of elite FC's out there able to beat things with skill and strategy over gear.

There are 5 seperate mapping achievements for the Coilings of Bahamat and there are, I counted, 12 dungeons some of which are prolly max level.

I also saw some supposition the some of the dungeons are 8 man.

There was a relic armor quest in v1.0 which I think is continuing, and they'll add more content at the level cap in each pass.

So there will be lots do to if you can play the game. My worry is that they're not going to have the server infrastructure for everyone who wants to play to be able to play. Least not outside Japan. And that is sad.

So what is the end game content like

20 man raids ? 10 mans or what ? how many spots in the raids are there ?

Bahumut will be the hardest and that will be 8 man.. Crystal Tower slated for 2.1 release in NOvember will be 24 man. Otherwise all primals and other versions of them are 4 and 8 man.
