Thread: Error 1016 - Midgardsormr - August 26 @ ARound 11:45am Eastern US Time

Please note that there seems to be an issue where people have been booted from Midgardsormr. Then when trying to log back in, there is an error 1016. Cannot load the World Data. Please try again later.

When I hit this issue, I wasn't zoning or anything. I was just getting on my Chocobo. I can confirm another dozen people who have been booted and can't get back on.

Same thing just happened to me. Now I'm getting "Unable to update the group NA/EU character list"

Do not LOG OUT....it is a TRAP!!!

Now I'm seeing Error 1014.

World data could not be obtained.

Same as well, though I was running Tam-Tara at the time.

Our tank had just gone afk, so at least we weren't in the middle of a pull.

Myself and the entire Ohana LS received the same error.

When you get that "Unable to update the group..." msg, I noticed that it sometimes works if you EXIT the game, and then start it up again from the launcher menu - I just got 90000'd, had that 'unable to update' msg when START'ing, so i exited, and came back.
Not sure if it will work with 1016 since I've never gotten that error.
