Why so much negativity ?

I'm negative mainly because the lack of optionality and differences between players, so there are only 2 melee dps paths in the game? I don't want to sound like a negative nancy, but seems like you're gonna see everyone doing the same thing. I'm the type to take my time so I'll be leveling all the classes to at least 15 most likely, but by the time I'm approaching 50, gonna see the same ole jobs out there..amirite?

The negativity is about reasonable expectation of quality and service.
If you bought a brand new car and you could not drive it..."sorry...we did not forsee that the fuel injection system would not be working properly" "we did not know you were going to drive the car so much".
This is all just bad on their part. This is no longer a Beta test and this is suppose to be a finished product that a ton of customers spent their money on. People have wasted time in their life with this that they can never get back. People made plans to play this game and did not get to play (some of them) at all.

The white knights to your analogy are the ones who will say, "there is nothing wrong with the car. you're driving it wrong!"

Have you done all jobs and classes, find all set items etc etc ... there's so much to do yet you complain about content? You can make hybrid classes around 30, plus there adding more content and end content and jobs later on... in all mmos there's tanks, dps,heals etc what did you expect? Heck its only first week lol..

The servers are full because square enix placed a limit on the number of the players. Only a handful of players can log in right now. So server full doesnt mean a lot of people are actually playing it.

Reason why people qq because they think that se is ripping them off. They paid for pre purchase for the early access only to find out that they can only play for 3 hours in the entire 3days of ea.

For a paid game, the service shouldnt be this bad. Se doesnt even update us as to how they are fixing the problems which people assume they arent doing something about it because despite the numerous hours of maintenance, either nothing has changed or it just became worse

Ahh internet. You never change. People throw out "figures" without anything to back them up and somehow are ignorant enough to think everyone is stupid enough to buy it. Unless you can provide anything to support this "only a handful" claim then its worthless. Yes they are restricted but funny thing is when I am in game I still see people everywhere. So it is no where close to just a handful. Chances are its far more people in game then people stuck out of game. But I of course can not say that with certainty since I also have no hard numbers to give.

Only players who own CE 1.0 get CE 2.0.
Why the hell should SE give everyone CE items and screw over everyone who paid for the CE version?
Why the hell should SE give you an additional free month just because you've missed out on a few days?
How the hell is complaining in a section designed for helping new players to the game actually helping new players?
The problem is a technical/Customer service one and so surely any complaints should be posted in that section.

Really your mad because SE is trying to make things right by giving players CE items? Odds are they will make it right for the CE players also...at least give them a chance before getting all worked up?

Btw I paid for CE 150$ to be exact, so my opinons are not because I benefited from this ....just happy to see SE is trying to do right by everyone!

You do know that problems can still be found after someone bought a brand new car which means they might have to wait a few days extra for the problem to be fixed, right?

And why the hell should you get all the CE items? Extra days equal the number of days the problems have occured? Sure! CE items? ....
