    WHM Relic Weapon Question

    So I'm trying to create the relic weapon for WHM through the quests and I am a bit curious about the Madman's Whispering Rod with the materia melds. The quest is very unclear about what to meld and how much to meld. I know in 1.0, there were very specific things to meld, but is that still true? Can anyone show me something about this? I don't want to waste a large amount of money trying to meld expensive materia if it is no longer necessary.

    Two quicktounge materia III are what you're looking for. It says so in the quest log under description in for the quest.

    Complete the entirety of the main storyline and pick it up from the dungeon quest dude in Vesper Bay. It's not titled A Relic Reborn but you'll know it by the title
