    so i entered the code that came with my CE like he said, but that went and made a completely different service account than my pre-order one. I was under the impression that this was a bonus code thing not something to start a completely new account that doesn't even have the pre-order bonus items in it. I can deal with starting again if that was ultimately the case, but this is rather agitating.

    finally got it to work!

    this is what you should do:
    delete your current final fantasy game from your ps3
    input your code through account management, not ps3 store.
    redownload the game / install
    pick the right service account!
    update the game
    play.

    Has someone done this without having to download the game again? I have a slow connection on my new place and waiting 6 hours to download the game doesn't sound fun.
