Petition to restore the queue system.

Dear SE

We can understand that you want to limit logins to ensure server stability. OK. Jealous of the lucky few that get to play while the rest of us are locked out, it sucks but is understandable.

But please restore/build a transparent queue system soon. Most of the frustration is because of error 1017 kicking people out to the main screen with a "try again later". This is really really bad. People are afraid to log off because they have no idea when or if they'll get back on. The problems keep compounding because there is no queue.

So please sign this thread if you agree that SE should reimplement a queue system. Maybe if we show them that this is a very desired feature, they'll do it.

I'll sign because Queue's are way more efficient, and much easier to handle for us. This way we know we are waiting, and we can do other things in the process. This whole spam start/name/ok (at error), over and over, for 30+ minutes, is ridiculous.

Pretty much the same reason why I'm okay with the queue system as well. Any time that I have been queued, it has not been more than a 1-2 minute wait.

I agree with OP, would prefer a lot being 400th in queue over getting 1017 error, at least in queue I know I'll get to play at some point. Log in spamming sucks.

Or 4,000th. Agreed, and it probably isn't helping the severs. Its not the waiting, its the not getting in the que (12 hrs of that yesterday then got to play, now started again)

I spent over an hour yesterday spamming through the login screens to a 1017 error while my wife sat across the room playing after trying only 3 times. Having any kind of queue system would have let me go do anything else but listen to her mock me the entire time.
